I had 2 minutes before my first session began this morning and I was hurrying around looking for an extension cord for my computer. I was looking in all the kitchen drawers, but it wasn't there. I could've sworn I had seen it in the laundry room. I looked in the messy baskets I have sitting on top of the washer & dryer, but no luck.
After my session, I went in to the laundry room to take out the clothes in the dryer, and happened to look up...there were TWO extension cords, dangling from the shelf above.
I couldn't help but wonder - how many times have I rushed around in my mind, trying to figure out or find answers on my own, when all I needed to do was slow down, look up, and allow God to show me even more than I was originally looking for? May we all remember to take some time each day to slow down, look up, and receive the gifts and abundance that He has put right in front of us!
